I ordered a new planner! You may remember last year I splurged on an Erin Condren Life Planner. While it was pretty and nice, the cost was too high, the planner was too big and bulky to carry around, and the wait time in order to receive it was absurd, so I knew I wasn’t going to order another one. I was waffling between the Personal Planner and the Passion Planner, but after Danielle posted about hers, I ultimately decided on the Passion Planner. It was the right size, it was classier-looking, and it was ultimately cheaper than the Personal Planner. I got the academic one that runs from August 2015-August 2016 so I can start using it immediately. I already have lots of stuff happening next year that I want to make sure is written down so I don’t forget. Once I get it and have used it a bit, I’ll do a quick review post 🙂

Spartan Sprint on Sunday. Aaarrgghh. I’m trying to stay positive, but I honestly have no idea how this is going to go. I vacillate between nonchalance and utter panic. The good news is, Alison and I have teamed up with a larger group of people, so now we’ll have more help and motivation along the way, which is good. I’ll need all the help I can get. And then this is the last big scary, stressful thing on the docket for a long, long time. I have the Color Run next weekend, but that’s just going to be fun. It will be nice to have my weekends back, and not have to stress so much anymore.

I updated my “Discounts” page. I removed a bunch of expired codes and added some new partner discounts, so be sure to check it out if you like cheap races and gear! And thanks to BibRave for making it happen!

Who else is making the trek to Killington, VT for Spartan races this weekend?

Good luck with the Spartan Sprint! You are going to be great. And a Color Run!!! How fun is that? Is there a Spartan Ultra Beast or something going on in Killington, too? I have some crazy obstacle course runner friends that keep posting about that.

I am not fancy with my planner – I have a Moleskine that is about the size of my iPhone 6+ that I carry around everywhere and an old Parker Vector fountain pen that make a great combo. 🙂

Very classic! I like something that’s about 5×8 cause that’s big enough to write without being stupid to carry around. And I have a set of colored felt tip pens because I like to color code EVERYTHING!
