What Was Planned vs. What Happened
Monday 11/16/15: Rest | 15 Minutes Core
I didn’t make time to run, but while I was watching TV in the evening, I did some planks, bridges, clam shells, leg raises, and other core/hip strengthening exercises.
Tuesday 11/17/15: Short Run | Rest
I intended to go for a short run after work, either outside or on the treadmill, but my stomach had other ideas. I had really awful stomach cramps for a couple of hours, so running went out the window.
Wednesday 11/18/15: Tap class | Tap Class & Early Morning Spin
As I stated in my post last week, I intend to hit this 6 am spin class every week from now on. Ryan is an awesome teacher and I need exercise other than running to keep me healthy.
Thursday 11/19/15: Run club speed workout | Rest
A friend of mine was desperate for a babysitter, so instead of run club, I spent the evening hanging out with an adorable 5 year old.
Friday 11/20/15: Rest | Rest
Since this was the only night of the week I didn’t have plans, I went straight home after work, changed into PJs, made dinner, and spent the evening watching NCIS on Netflix.
Saturday 11/21/15: Run club 4 miles | Run Club 5k; 5.5 miles walking
Everyone at run club was feeling tired and/or injured, so not many went the full 4 miles. Since this was my first run in just about 2 weeks, I decided to only do the 5k as well. In addition to run club, I did about 5.5 miles walking around town since Ben took the car for the day.
Sunday 11/22/15: Rest | 10 Minutes core
Our wedding anniversary! We slept in, went out to breakfast, did some errands, hung out at home, went out to dinner, and watched some movies together before an early bed time. But while we watched movies, I did some core and hip/glute exercises. I need to be doing them every day!
Not quite the week I had planned out, but not bad on the whole. This week may be tricky because we’re traveling for Thanksgiving, but I’m hoping to at least get in a few miles each day for the #RWRunStreak.

- Wednesday: 1 Hour Spin
- Thursday: 2 miles easy
- Friday: 2 miles easy
- Saturday: 2 miles easy
- Sunday: 2 miles easy
