Friday Free-For-All – 01/08/16

FFFA (1)

First Friday-Free-For-All of the new year! I was in NJ last week and didn’t do one, so this is the first! Whee!

Mary Poppins rehearsals start on Sunday. I’m mostly excited, but also bracing myself for things to get busy as all hell. Because…

Marathon training starts on Monday. Yup. As if starting a four month, four-times-a-week rehearsal process wasn’t enough, I had to add marathon training in. Am I crazy? Probably. But I trust Coach Suz to get me through. I haven’t seen my plan yet, and I’m itching to get it all written down in my planner!

I’m going out dancing tonight. On the one hand I’m excited, because I’m going with friends that I haven’t hung out with in ages, and who I only see a couple times a year. On the other hand, dancing and going out to the bars isn’t really my scene anymore, so I’m not sure how it’s gonna go. I’d honestly prefer a quiet movie night, but oh well.

When’s the last time you went out for a night on the town?

What are your plans for the weekend?

And Coach Suz will beat you with a crutch if you don’t obey! She’s a total badass like that! πŸ™‚

Really I’m excited to see two of my fave bloggers working together like this!

Last time ‘out on the town’ … for Lisa and I that would mean having drinks, maybe going to the martini bar in Corning or something ..dancing? not any time recent. haha

Excited to see how Mary Poppins goes for you!

This weekend? Younger son is performing in the high school ‘variety show’ – he is part of the ‘support cast’ that does all the choreographed numbers, and also has a piece he’s doing with some friends from percussion ensemble, so that will be fun. Oh, and taking down Christmas. And running.

I hate going out, but whenever I do I just tell myself “this is going to be fun this is going to be fun” and then I try to have as much fun as possible so it was worth it. Don’t drink too much tho! That is NOT fun lol! Anyways, I hope you do have fun going out! Good luck with the start of the craziness this week!

This is exactly why you hired me: to help you find the balance. Remember, I trained for my first marathon while being a full time waitress! I got you, boo.
