I have a busy weekend ahead! Saturday holds a 5k time trial, a show, and a party, woohoo! I’ll try to get my run done in the morning, and then I’m performing a guest role in a Carpenter’s tribute show in the evening. I’m wearing a whore red 70’s style jumpsuit and it’s awesome. And then it’s my friend/coworker/gym buddy Freda’s annual January Thaw party. Sunday is yoga and a four hour rehearsal and possibly another comedy show. I’m tired already…
We had a delicious seafood dinner with Ben’s parents last night. While we were visiting last weekend, John mentioned that he was going to Maine for a conference and that he was planning to bring back a load of fresh seafood. When he offered me lobster, oysters, AND clams, there was no way I was saying no! Of course, we stayed out too late and I’m pretty tired today, but it was worth it.
I get an extra paid holiday on Monday. Originally our office was supposed to be open, but because all major stock exchanges are closed on Monday, as well as our corporate offices, management decided to close our branch for the day too. WOOOHOOO! That almost never happens. AND I don’t have rehearsal, so I have an entire day with nothing scheduled. I’m DELIGHTED.
My company is starting the Whole Life Challenge tomorrow. You may remember a month or two ago I tried to do a pseudo-WLC on my own, and it didn’t go well. I plan to do a larger post on this next week, but basically, it can’t hurt to try, and my company is paying for it, so why not?
Who else has Monday off? Any fun plans?
