I do love roller coasters in general, prefer steel to wood and don’t care how many loops or whatever are involved 🙂 I also love the Great Escape, since Lisa is from Glens Falls and our wedding reception was on Lake George.

But I have some special memories of coasters – before we got married Lisa going on the Sidewinder coaster at Hershey Park (similar to ‘Flashback’ at Great Escape) with me as a reward since I did all the rides with her niece and nephew all day … and she came off the ride pale as a ghost, and never made a coaster promise again!

I also love ‘Six Flags New England’ (which I grew up with as Riverside Park) … and loved taking the boys on the Superman Coaster when they were old enough. Awesome stuff!

Great Escape is my favorite just because it’s the closest to where I am, and I have so many childhood and adolescent memories of trips there with family and friends. The Comet is my favorite, even though it’s wooden and doesn’t do any loops or anything. My mom loves roller coasters too, but gets severe motion sickness from anything with too many loops.

I LOVE roller coasters! My favorite will and probably always will be Steel Force at Dorney Park. It was my first HUGE coaster and is still pretty impressive when I ride it. I def. have a lot of great memories with that coaster 🙂
