What Was Planned vs. What Happened
Monday 09/04/17: 10 Mile Run | 10 Miles @ 11:22
This was my longest run since marathon training last year, and it was HARD. It’s not that it was particularly hot, or that I was dehydrated or anything specific. It was just hard.
Tuesday 09/05/17: 5k Run | Rest
I had grand ambitions to do a nice little recovery run, but between pouring rain and lingering exhaustion from my long run, it just didn’t happen.
Wednesday 09/06/17: CrossFit | Rest
After a night of piss-poor sleep, I was already exhausted. And then our mortgage broker cancelled our meeting last-minute, so I was grouchy to boot, so I just went home.
Thursday 09/07/17: 5 Mile Run | Rest
It was another cold, rainy day, so running was out. And I had to work late, so CrossFit was out. Boo.
Friday 09/08/17: CrossFit | Rest
We were seeing a show in Stowe and I knew I wouldn’t have enough time to go to class, change, eat, and get out to Stowe without feeling super stressed, so I just went home.
Saturday 09/09/17: Rest | Rest
Another cold, rainy day where I just didn’t feel like doing anything. It was glorious to just laze around in PJs most of the day.
Sunday 09/10/17: 11 Mile Run | Rest
Despite my plans for a relaxing weekend, I ended up doing a fair amount of running around on Sunday and didn’t make time to run.

Oof. Not a great week. But I’m over it. I was exhausted and cranky all week, and all I wanted to do after work was go home, put on PJs, and snuggle with Ben. Having a house to ourselves for almost a week was really, really nice. We spent a ton of time together, which we really needed. Here’s to a new week!
